The finalists for this year's RHS Chelsea Sustainable Product of the Year have been chosen, with the RHS expanding the award for 2025.

This year the RHS has expanded its RHS Chelsea Sustainable Product of the Year to become the RHS Chelsea Sustainable Excellence Awards, with three categories - the Sustainable Garden Product of the Year, the Sustainable Lifestyle Product of the Year and the Sustainable Business of the year.
Making up the Sustainable Product of the Year Awards is the Sustainable Garden Product and the Sustainable Lifestyle Product of The Year. The Sustainable Business of the Year is announced here.
The shortlist for Sustainable Garden Product of the Year features a garden scoop, dipping tank and sustainable tree and shrub ties, while the Sustainable Lifestyle Product of the Year includes a recycled doormat, a compostable refill pouch and sustainable sunglasses.
The competition, which is open exclusively to tradestand exhibitors at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, celebrates the horticultural industry's efforts to promote eco-friendly and ethical consumerism.
All finalists are exhibited at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 and the winners of each category are announced by the judges Chris Harrop, Deborah Meaden and Andree Davies on Monday 19 May at the RHS Experience stand.
Last year's winner was POTR Pot; flat packed, self-watering origami planters made from waste. With a unique origami design, the flat-packed pot was created with environmental footprint in mind.

Hand wash compostable refill pouch

Bramley has increased its sustainable offering with its compost refill pouch packaging, which is made from 100 per cent compostable materials and starts to decompose within five days of decanting. Which is why they suggest transferring the contents promptly.
MONC Eyewear

MONC is a brand that makes sustainable sunglasses and spectacles, which are free from fossil fuel-based plasticisers. Mineral glass lenses and mycelium packaging that biodegrades also helps up the brand's sustainable credentials.
